- school, he entered a typing contest at a
- local college. Of the 38 competitors, Troy
- was the only boy. He typed about 80
- words per minute, and he won!

- -- If he couldnΓÇÖt be a pro athlete, Troy might
- have chosen to be a doctor. In fact, he
- thought about majoring in medicine in
- college, but because of football, he didnΓÇÖt
- have the time to take all of the necessary
- classes.

- -- In 1991, Troy helped raise $225,000 to
- build a health-and-fitness center for kids
- in his hometown of Henryetta. He also
- sponsors a college scholarship for
- financially needy kids from Henryetta
- High School.
